Just managed to get out and ride properly for the first time in almost a year... that's not saying I haven't been on my bord, but mostly it was just showing people who were interested in it how it worked and letting them have a shot.

Needless to say I was super rusty, and considering that I wasn't all that good to begin with I was actually pretty happy to be able to descend to the bottom from my starting point after half an hour.

My real problem is that after 30/45 minutes of riding alone I get demotivated, I think I need to ride with other people if I'm going to get better. (Not to mention enjoying it way more.)

I know that Glasgow doesn't have many freeborders, but maybe some of the longboarders would be up for giving it a shot for a day just for a laugh.

I'd be totally willing to let people use/share my bord as it'd probably mean I'd stay out and ride for longer, thus getting more value out of my bord.

I know what you mean about getting demotivated when you ar on your own!
Unfortunately the time a manage to spend on a board is seldom but if i find some free time i'll join you on a freebord (i have my own!)

Rory (dorkmania) should be up for joining you, get his e-mail of his profile and drop him a line (he's always up for riding with other freeborders...and is shit hot so you'll improve loads!)

Cheers

Will.

Hello hello, welcome back MJ ... weren't you in NZ snowboarding? How was it?

I'll be out and about a lot over the summer, mostly in Kelvingrove and around the West End.

Give me a shout when you are going out.
