Hi, there my names Matthew, I'm from Vancouver Canada and will be staying in Scotland for about a month maybe longer. I'm arriving the 2nd-3rd week of September and am looking to do some skating during my stay. Bombing, sliding, parkades, anythings good, Just though I would say Hello and check out the website, see what you guys get up too! There is hills in Glasgow right?

Hi Matt,

Yep there are hills in Glasgow, and your welcome to join us/drag us out skating whenever!

What do you ride/what boards will you have with you?

usually we try to get together at least every Thursday evening, but the weather has been so bad this summer we've been kind of slack! but September is supposed to be good weather so it should be perfect by the time you arrive.

Cheers

Will.

Speedboarding...Brilliant!

Theres not too much full face & leather action here (other than the fetish clubs!) but i'd love to get into it (speedboarding that is....i'm not publically declaring my desire for the clubs!)

But If the weight is an issue for flying then i'd suggest you leave the leathers as you may only get to skate them a few times....but i'm up for finding some good hills out of the city!

Cheers

W.

Hey there you fine people, things are rolling, got my UK ancestry visa, but the price of it set me back a bit I still might not be there until November or even later... but you should have one more to your ranks. Friend of mine (collette) in Glasgow said she would be attending some Thursday night sessions!
