Hello again. I've gone and left you guys, and moved down to Weston-super-Mare (near Bristol), so no more Kelvingrove for me for a while...

...but I'm wanting to get myself a nice slalom setup. Any advice?

Hi ML
Charlie on this forum (you out there Charlie ?) has a selection of slalom boards and knowledge about set-ups ; like most things , it is down to cash and maybe the starting point is phoning up say , Apollo11 or Octane Sports , for advice and if they have any deals or you could choose which deck, trucks ,wheels etc.
Enjoy the beach !

I'd give Mike Stride a ring at Octane sports...I think he used to be world Champion slalom (certainly British champ) and he organises lots of slalom events.

Also as Aircooled has mentioned Charlie likes his slalom...

Be sure to hook up with the Lush guys down in Bristol...they're really good guys that are stoked on everything skate!

Cheers

Will.

Yeah, if you've got a slalom setup going Charlie, I might be interested. I'll be up in Glasgow in about a month so could pick it up too.

I'm that same Johanna who was around Kelvingrove Park last summer, but I can't borrow slalom boards and cones from people now so I have to get my own.

I've mostly got myself sorted out down here now, so it's time to find good places to roll around and also get back into kitesurfing. Ah, the joys! :)
