Hi there.

I'm Lewis. I'm originally form Aberdeenshire but I've been living in Glasgow for the past 6 years studying at Glasgow Uni, currently doing a science post grad.

I picked up a Lush Kuni a few months ago as I heard it was a good beginner board and the graphics on it are sweet. I haven't had much time to try it out yet as I've either been busy or the weather's been shite so I'm looking to tear up the park with some folk to get some practice in and nail the basic longboard techniques.

I've owned a regular skateboard for a while but was finding that I was having more fun cruising about than doing tricks so I got interested in longboarding. So I guess you could say I'm not a complete beginner but I'm new to longboarding.

Bring on the good weather.

Hey there,

Welcome to the forum...

I was in the park this evening briefly and there were three other guys there(all on Sambas!) so if you see anyone on a longboard definitely stop and say Hi...I've never met a longboarder who is not up for skating with someone else!

I'm up for getting regular sessions going again so if you are going to be out loads then let folks know, I'm sure others will join you!

Cheers

Will.

Hi Lewis!

Good to see you've found these forums too.

Give us a shout if you're heading to the park for a skate!

Johanna

For some reason I've now got images of Justice's Stress video, but with Sambas instead of leather jackets with crosses, stuck in my head..
