Found this nice little road a couple of days ago and suddenly found my freebording progressing alot faster. The Surface is pretty smooth apart from two potholes that are right in the middle of the road and fairly easy to avoid. The fact that one end of this road is blocked off coupled with the big houses that all have driveways means that unlike many places in Glasgow you actually have the full width of the road to play with for the most part.

It's steep enough that you could probably get up a decent speed on a longboard if you wanted too and yet I still feel happy going down it on my freebord.

If anyone likes the look of it let me know, I don't know much about longboarding but I reckon this could be OK for sliding. (Not to mention the large number of other hills in the area.)[/img]

Yeh reckon this would be a nice hill too. Also near to the park is Hamilton Avenue, Sprinkell Avenue and Sutherland avenue. All look good for sliding - and justt next to Dumbreck Train Station if you don't have a car!
